NTVU visits Luxshare Group to Deepen Cooperation in China-Vietnam Craftsman College Project
To solidly promote university-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation, accurately grasp the practical learning dynamics of international students, and further deepen the connotation of international cooperation in industry-education integration, on January 12th, Liu Wansheng, Director of the Development Planning Office (International Exchange Office), and Wu Wei, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, led a delegation to Luxshare Group. They inspected the China-Vietnam Craftsman College Project implemented at the Luxshare Industry-Education Integration Center and conducted in-depth discussions with Wang Baofeng, person in charge of Luxshare Group's Industrial College, on the continuous advancement of the China-Vietnam Craftsman College Project and subsequent cooperation plans.

The China-Vietnam Craftsman College Project is an important cooperation carrier between our university and Luxshare Group in response to the national vocational education “going global” strategy and serving the overseas development needs of Chinese-funded enterprises. It aims to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents with both professional skills and cross-cultural communication capabilities for China-Vietnam industrial cooperation through the training model of “university-enterprise collaboration and industry-education integration”. Currently, some Vietnamese exchange students from our university have carried out immersive learning at the Luxshare Industry-Education Integration Center. Under the joint guidance of enterprise engineers and university teachers, they systematically participate in practical training and project practice, realizing the precise connection between classroom knowledge and job requirements.
During the visit, the delegation went deep into the training site of the Industry-Education Integration Center, carefully inspected the learning environment and training situation of Vietnamese exchange students, communicated cordially with them, and inquired about their learning progress, skill mastery, and living adaptation. Coinciding with the collective birthday party for students held at the Luxshare Industry-Education Integration Center, the delegation was invited to attend and extend their blessings. In his speech, Liu Wansheng encouraged Vietnamese students to cherish the opportunity of studying and practicing in China, temper their professional skills, experience the charm of Chinese culture, enhance the friendship between Chinese and Vietnamese youth, and strive to become a bridge and link for China-Vietnam industrial cooperation.

At the university-enterprise forum, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions on the phased achievements and future development direction of the China-Vietnam Craftsman College Project. Supervisor Wang Baofeng highly praised the comprehensive quality of Vietnamese exchange students sent by NTVU. He stated that he hopes both parties will further refine the training program, deeply integrate the enterprise's latest technical standards and job requirements into the teaching process, and improve the accuracy of talent cultivation.
Liu Wansheng said that the China-Vietnam Craftsman College is an important practice for NTVU to deepen international industry-education integration. In the next step, NTVU will work with enterprises to promote the establishment of the college in Vietnam, strengthen the construction of university-enterprise collaborative teaching teams, promote the implementation of mechanisms such as curriculum co-construction, teacher exchange, and training resource sharing, build a new international talent training pattern of win-win for "universities, enterprises, and students", and provide solid talent support for China-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation and industrial upgrading.
Through this visit, we not only grasped the practical learning dynamics of students in the China-Vietnam Craftsman College but also consolidated the consensus on university-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation, laying a solid foundation for the further deepening and advancement of the China-Vietnam Craftsman College Project. Taking this opportunity, NTVU will work with Luxshare to actively explore new paths for vocational education “going global” and help build an open, cooperative, and innovative highland of vocational education facing ASEAN.
