On January 31st, the graduation ceremony of students from the China-Vietnam Craftsman College was grandly held at the Luxshare Industry College. Xu Sheng, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of NTVU, led a delegation to attend the ceremony. Liu Wansheng, Director of the Development Planning Office (International Cooperation and Exchange Office), Gu Zhixiang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Intelligent Manufacturing school, and Wu Wei, Vice Dean of the Intelligent Manufacturing school, attended the ceremony together. They witnessed the ceremony with Chen Jiangping, Senior Director of the Human Resources Department of Luxshare Group, and Wang Baofeng, Head of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Department of Luxshare Group.

As an important practice of our university in responding to the national "Vocational Education Going Global" strategy and serving the overseas development of Chinese-funded enterprises, the China-Vietnam Craftsman College project is an important carrier for our university and Luxshare Group to meet the demand for localized high-skilled talents for Luxshare's rapid development in Vietnam. The project aims to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents with both professional skills and cross-cultural communication capabilities for the industrial development of China and Vietnam through the training model of "school-enterprise collaboration and industry-education integration".

In his speech, Vice President Xu Sheng emphasized that NTVU has always adhered to the school-running orientation of "rooted in the local area, serving the industry, and facing the world". In recent years, it has built an upgraded model from "customized training for individual enterprises" to "collaborative education for industrial groups". The in-depth cooperation with leading enterprises in the industry such as Luxshare Group has formed a mature integrated system of "teaching-practice-employment". The training project for Vietnamese students this time is another important breakthrough in expanding international school-running after the Namibia Presidential Revitalization Plan and inter-university cooperation in Indonesia, marking that the university's international school-running idea of "education follows production, and industry and education go hand in hand" has achieved substantial results. Taking this cooperation as an opportunity, the university will further promote the construction of the China-Vietnam Craftsman College in Vietnam, deepen mechanisms such as curriculum co-construction, teacher exchanges, and training resource sharing, and provide solid talent support for the overseas development of Chinese-funded enterprises.

Zheng Jinghe, representative of Vietnamese students, shared his growth insights in fluent Chinese. He said: "The dedicated teaching and patient guidance of the teachers have enabled us to not only master the core skills of precision manufacturing, but also understand the profound connotation of the 'craftsman spirit'. What we take away is not only the skill certificate, but also the professional belief and cross-cultural collaboration ability jointly endowed by Nantong Vocational University and Luxshare Group."

Chen Jiangping, Senior Director of Human Resources of Luxshare Group, expressed his gratitude to NTVU for its long-term strong support to the Luxshare Industry College. He pointed out that at the critical node of the global manufacturing transformation and upgrading, Luxshare Group continues to promote its global layout. As one of the group's important industrial bases, Vietnam is in urgent need of a number of compound talents with professional skills, international vision and professional literacy. The training project for Vietnamese students at the Luxshare Industry College this time is an important measure for the two sides to deepen industry-education integration and promote localized talent training, as well as a vivid practice for the two sides to practice international cooperation and exchanges. Wang Baofeng, Head of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Department of Luxshare Group, said that the precise connection between the "double-qualified" teacher team and advanced training resources of NTVU and the enterprise's job needs has provided core guarantee for the quality of talent training in the cooperation between the two sides.

 The successful holding of this graduation ceremony is an important achievement of NTVU in practically promoting school-enterprise cooperation in carrying out international apprenticeship talent training, demonstrating the university's responsibility and mission in serving the national strategy and promoting the internationalization of vocational education. In the future, the university will continue to expand educational cooperation with enterprises going global in countries along the "Belt and Road", export the "Nantong Vocational University Model" of Chinese vocational education, and contribute more efforts of Nantong Vocational University to building a coordinated development system of world vocational education and promoting international industrial capacity cooperation and cultural exchanges.
