Online Training for International Invitational Contest of IoT Technology

In the afternoon of December, 2th, 2021, Nantong Vocational University (NTVU) of China and International Cultural Communication Center of Malaysia Co-hosted Online Training for“2021 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week International Invitational Contest of Internet of Things Technology”. 202 contestants of 101 teams from China, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and African countries participated actively in the training.

    

The Internet of Things Technology (IoT) contest is instructed by China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week Organizing Committee, co-hosted by Nantong Vocational University of China and International Cultural Communication Center of Malaysia, and co-organized by Beijing Newland Technology Group Co. Ltd of China. The contest is divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which account for 20% and 80% respectively, whose topics combining relevant professional standards and industry practices in the field of IoT and involving tasks such as the selection, planning and design of the loT system, the application of virtual simulation, and basic knowledge of IoT.

The online training session invited Zhi Mingyuan, a renowned tutor from the Center of Overseas Exchange Service in School of International Cooperation and Education, NTVU, and Shen Zhihua, a Doctor tutor in School of Electronic Information & Engineering, NTVU, who is also the host of a National Natural Science Research Foundation project, to put on exclusive lectures on contest details, as well as provide contestants with comprehensive and detailed answers to their questions. 

    

It is reported that“2021 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week International Invitational Contest of Internet of Things Technology”will be held online on December 12th, 2021. 168 contestants from 84 domestic teams, 34 contestants from 17 ASEAN and African teams are registered to compete in the contest.
